Short Term Immersive Culture Camp
Our Immersion Camp fully integrates students into our schools. Each middle and high school student is paired with a ‘shadow student’ of the same age and grade with similar interests. Together they attend math, science, English and other classes, completely immersed in English! The host family will further enhance students’ stay with us, as they experience authentic American student life.
Campers can be in fourth grade and up. Fourth, fifth and sixth grade students are placed in Elementary school classrooms and participate as one of the group. Visiting students are invited to prepare a cultural presentation that they can share with their new friends. For groups of 10 or more, we can prepare customized English, Entrepreneurship, or financial literacy courses, as well as an introduction to a variety of American sports. We can also help arrange outside tours and events, such as the Grand Canyon and Sedona, horseback riding, etc.
